SAFE MEMBERSHIP

Over the years SAFE has helped to negotiate Horse Routes and paid money towards routes in Lisvane (from railway station north), Forest Farm (Whitchurch), Forest Ganol & Wenallt (Rhiwbina),Ty Rhiw/Walnut Tree line (RCT), Forest Fawr Caerphilly, Penallta Parc, Case Hill Woods (Dinas Powis), Cefn Mably Woods and lobbied for/paid toward improvements to many statuary bridlepaths.

The more members that SAFE has, the stronger its negotiating power!

Membership is £5 (Individual) or £10 (Family)

The £5 individual membership is less than a bag of feed, and a fraction of what you might pay for just one lesson or trip to a show. In some areas, especially around Rhiwbina and Whitchurch, SAFE have negotiated permissive horse routes which are the majority of the off road riding routes. If you rode out just twice a week this would work out at less than 5p a ride!

SAFE has not raised its subscription for many, many years – if you can afford the £10 family membership we would encourage you to use this option. All funds received by SAFE are put into improving off-road riding.

We will be happy to get in touch and arrange alternative methods of joining and/or paying. While Standing Order is the most convenient (for SAFE, and, we believe, yourselves), we aren’t going to turn away members!

SAFE is a self-help group, so we are always looking for members who can take a more active role. Also, if you want to make a one-off donation to support SAFE’s work, please e-mail the Treasurer

HOW TO JOIN

  2. You will immediately receive details of how to set up the Standing Order. Please check your e-mail and contact us if you do not receive the instructions. Do not send the completed form to us, we cannot contact your bank for you. Standing Order Guidance here (opens in new window/tab)


  3. Once the Standing Order is set up, email the treasurer and your membership will be complete.

    Please make every effort to pay your first annual subscription (by completing the Standing Order, or otherwise) within 14 days of submitting the membership request.
